Ride Maintenance: Tyres, Punctures & Repairs
This ride maintenance mini class series has been designed by eZo Cycle to give all cyclists some essential skills to maintaining their bike whilst on a ride. Using only some essential ride tools, bring your bike along to The Floating Front Room and learn how to spot a problem and then resolve it whether it is before, during or after a ride.
The course will provide the essential ride tools, but it is designed for cyclists to bring their own bikes, any additional tools and spares. During the 30 minute classes there are opportunities to learn, then practise these skills.
Join in at South Loop Park and take part in one or multiple sessions for free! Kwok will also be providing free bike serving in the park 10am – 1pm.
this session: tyres, punctures & repairs
A flat tyre does not need to be the end of your ride. In this session Kwok will teach you about different kinds of tyres, and show you how to repairs and replace the right parts to get you and your bike back on track after a puncture.
These sessions take place as part of The Floating Front Room, a space for neighbours, and friends to meet safely, connect with others from the area and beyond, process the present and dream of the future together too.
Saturday 26th September: Tyres, Punctures & Repairs
Supported by Cycling UK: The Big Bike Revivial.
