Break Bread with Janet Weir
To live as neighbours and organise together safely and comfortably we need to find ways to nurture respect for one another across our differences, designing ways to express ourselves and to listen.
Break Bread at our weekly community lunch, a space of meeting, connecting, sharing and celebration through which the collective identities of our neighbourhoods can be explored together. Break Bread takes place online as well as in person in the neighbourhood.
Hosted by the CIVIC SQUARE team and friends from across the neighbourhood, each week there will be a different topic or question posed, so bring along your food or a cuppa, and your curiosity and join the conversation.
If you’d like to host one of these relaxed sessions, drop us a message to firstname.lastname@example.org
Spring 22 Community Hub
Janet Weir joins us from Spring Housing, her role as a Community and Digital Facilitator is to connect with tenants. Today, Janet will be sharing the work that the Community Hub does with Spring Housing tenants and the wider community, with a particular focus on the work the Hub has done during the pandemic.
About Spring 22 Community Hub
The Spring 22 Community Hub is a purpose built, modern community centre packed with activities, equipment and ideas to help with creative & learning aspirations in the neighbourhood.
This event is hosted virtually as a Zoom meeting as well in person in the neighbourhood, and is open to all. Please register your place here to join the online call.
We are encouraging folk to still be cautious and safe, but would love to have you join us in person too if you are able to. We are currently hosting in person from the Grow Room at the rear of St John’s & St Peter’s C of E Academy (our in person location in the neighbourhood may change and if this is the case we will share the location in the Front Room Key page on Facebook). You can also drop us a message to email@example.com if you’d like to know in advance where Break Bread will be taking place.
